Oh my gosh, I just had to share these little cuties with you. The Purrple Cat Cafe has three new residents! Three female kittens have joined the clan at just 8 weeks old. They’re yet to be named, but suggestions have been taken and there will be a vote, which I’ll share onto the blogs Facebook Page.
A few of us regulars have given them names to call them in the meantime, going with ‘Smudge’ who has a smudge of fur on her forehead, ‘Eyebrows’, who… has eyebrows and finally ‘Trouble’, the tabby who is the most mischievous of the three!
They’re currently kept in a cage inside the cafe so they get used to the noises, the people and the other cats. They are let out, supervised by Cattendants, each day to acclimatise to the freedom they will have in the not so distant future.
I even got to have some cuddles on Wednesday at Craft Club.
She even started grooming my arm, while I was holding her. We only managed to catch the end of the grooming on camera, but she gave me a good wash before this happened.
On Friday, I returned to the cafe to help make some Christmas decorations. There were only 4 of us at the table in the end, but as we were all members we were allowed to babysit the kittens and let them help us.
There are a lot of bite marks in the paper chains, but we thought they added to the effect. Here are some videos of the kittens getting up to mischief as we tried to craft.
Finally, and most importantly, I had some more lovely cuddles.
I can’t wait to see these little ladies grow into beautiful cats and join in with the fun and games that the other resident cats get up to. I’m sure you’ll be seeing their progress along with me on social media and in future blogs.
