Been a while since I posted, so I thought I’d better catch you up on everything that has been happening in the land of Carry & Cats.
Firstly, we have a new foster. His name is Monty and he’s estimated to be 3 years old. I am so in love with him. He’s such a big handsome boy and he just loves to be fussed. He’s chatty and adorable and he and McLaren are already friends. Yesterday all three cats had a little tea party together but Laser wasn’t very happy when Monty stole her catnip toy and slobbered all over it.
On Friday McLaren had a trip to the vets. He’s got a strange lump developed on his nose. He’s now on anti-inflammatory medication and back to see the vet this coming Friday. She thinks it is probably trauma from a bang on the nose, but I’m not convinced personally. I will keep you updated there.
On Saturday, I visited the cat cafe. Harry had been to the vets on Thursday to get an infection near his ear checked up on and he was feeling very sorry for himself. He had the cone of shame on and had to have medication. Poor boy.
On Sunday I took a trip to Tribe Animal Sanctuary Scotland. It was a lovely trip, and I got to meet many of the animals that have sanctuary there, living a care free and happy life. I met cows, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, sheep, lamps and a cockerel. My favourite moment had to be when I ducked down to see the lambs and they all piled on top of me.
They were so happy. Even the little black faced one named Hannah who has neurological problems enjoyed herself running free and playing. They were such cuties.
That’s about all of my adventures caught up on. I’ll leave you with a video that makes me chuckle.
